Last week the girls and I went to see a children's play entitled The Elves and the Two Bakers. It was an interactive play and both girls got to be little elves. They were thrilled, especially Ellie. When she was picked to come up, she was as excited as an adult winning the lottery! It was very fun, and it was so nice to spend the day with them doing something we all enjoyed.

I wish they had things like that when I was little! April would have been the star of all of them anyway... ;o)
That is so totally awesome!! Talk about making a kid feel extra special. And the fact that both of your girls jump at an opportunity like that -- neither shy to do such a thing. Impressive!
