Tonight, during the sometimes painful pre dinner hours of 5-6:30, the girls set up a beach party in the living room with Julie and "Lexis." Mom sent the girls a box of gifts which included bathing suits for the dolls! THANKS MOM, THEY WERE A HIT! So, the excitement mounted as Ellie and Mary Claire ran up and down the stairs and returned donned in bathing suits, flip flops, and sunglasses. Then out came the beach towels and food for the picnic, of course. It was very fun and very cute. Then Mary Claire decided that the dolls should each get a cup for cotton balls, our little reward system. My kids are cute.

THAT IS HILARIOUS! Do you suggest these fun ideas (ie. beach inside picnic, hot chocolate camping in the living room, napping under an umbrella outside, etc.) or do they come up with it on their own? They are so creative with their time! I wonder where that trait comes from! ;o)

That is so very cute - definitely something Sarah would do. Today she was in tent mode, though, so the dolls and Evan (who is like another toy toll) had to camp out under her tent. And of course, they all have to wear matching clothes.
You should bring your girls over for a playdate soon.
I like how MC and her doll are wearing sunglasses and how Elle & her doll are squinting!!
