Presser foot 101

Have I ever told you how much I love track out? Pretty much since Christmas activities have been pretty much all about Kit and Ruthie, MC and L's dolls. They are having so much fun with them and their new clothes, thanks to Grandmama and Grandma! Last week I had some fleece out to make a blanket for a gift and somehow the girls and I ended up making hats and scarves for Kit and Ruthie. The girls both learned about the presser foot on the sewing machine and each did their own "presser footing" for their girl's hat. Mary Claire even did most of the navigating the fabric on hers, too! It was really fun teaching them what to do. If it wasn't for a little Newt, I wouldn't have even thought they would have the desire to learn, actually.

Anyway, we are super inspired around here and who knows what sorts of things Kit and Ruthie will have by the time my inspiration runs out!

Ok - now your girls know more about a sewing machine than I do. Can I sign up for your next class? Very cute accessories for the dolls.
